On Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10:00am the Montour Antique Farm Machinery Collector’s Association will host a Farm Tractor Pull to benefit the Danville FFA chapter. The tractor pull will be held at the Montour-Delong Fairgrounds in Washingtonville Pennsylvania, located just 10 minutes from Interstate 80 off of exit 215 about 7 miles east on Route 254.. Pulling classes range from 2,750 to 14,000 pounds with various divisions including pace and non-pace classes. Hook fees are $5 per hook, and a $5 MAFMCA membership is required to pull. Special Classes will be pulled to benefit the Danville FFA chapter, with all proceeds from those classes going directly to the Danville FFA. Rules and directions are available at www.mafmca.org

Benefit classes will include the following weight classes in either an uncut 3.5mph division or a 6mph any cut tire division: 4300, 6750, and 9500 pounds. A tractor can be pulled multiple times by a different driver in the same class (benefit classes only!).

For additional information or directions, please contact Danville High School Ag-Science Instructor Mike Shultz at (570)764-3985 or email at [email protected] .

From Mt Carmel, you would take route 54 through Elysburg and Danville, and continue on it to Washingtonville. Turn left onto Route 254 and in about a mile the fairgrounds is on your left. I'd guess around 30-40 minutes from Mt. Carmel.
