301 offset grind

I found 153 connecting rods with the 2 inch journal for my 301. I was wondering if there is grinding in the block or will it spin freely. I think it makes the stroke to 4.75 inch. I am boring to 4.125 inch and dryblocking because I have one bad cylinder anyways. I was trying to make 380 cubes on a budget. any info would be great

You shouldnt have to do any grinding on block or cam

There is no grinding to the block or cam as Bob said but when you grind the crank make sure to narrow up the journals or you can build the rods up slightly on the big end and mill them down to the proper width. The 153 Rod is slightly narrower than the 301 rods

Hi Tim thanks for the advice. Do you think its worth bothering with the 153 rods or is there a another rod that works
