Advice Please

I sent a check for some parts for my pullin tractor back in december, he cashed the check in mid january, end of jan I emailed about sending some of the parts as I understand some of them arent done yet and confirmed address and what not, march came around and I emailed again about parts with no response, have talked on phone twice since then and both times and he has said the parts are on the way ill ship them out tomorrow....they never show up and since he is about 22 hours away from me what do you guys think I should do next? pulling is here and my tractor still sits all gutted out in the shop

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Thats kind of a tough one. I am from SC and have had work done in NE, IA, MO and I have never had that problem. All my work was done and sent back to me first before they even asked for money, but I was dealing with some super people which I have never met. If you have sent your money and you are not getting your stuff back and the check has been cashed, 22 hrs would not be to far for me to go check this dude out.

file a complaint at his local sheriff's department,fraud may get his attention

Depends upon how much $$$. If you think it is worth even fooling with, I'd recommend your next step should be to show up on the guys door step, maybe even with the law in tow.
