Massey 165 perkins oil pan removal

Hello, I need to gain access to the oil pump on a 165 is it possible to remove the oil pan with out pulling the engine? And if you can whats the best way of supporting the front and back end of the tractor. Also how do you tell if its a late or learn perkins engine when the tag is worn?

Yes, oil pan can be removed. Support under the trans front. Make sure the hidden pan nuts are removed that are behind the spacers at the front end. 165s all had the AD4 203, the 65s had the early regular diesel or the direct injected engine. If oversees model it may be a 212 diesel that the US only saw in gas model.
