3020 Rear Tire Size

Looks nice! Did you end up going with the 16.9-38's? I have a 3020 and I'm
thinking about going to those as well. How did they work for you? What width
room did you use, 14 inch?
 
I am not the original poster from what you ask about. We have a 3020, which originally had 15.5 x 38 rear tires. We went to 16.9 x 38 on that same rim, which I suspect is probably a 14 inch wide rim. We are very pleased with this tire set up and wouldn't go back to the prior size. The tractor is leveled off more and makes this tractor much better on the front end loader we have on the tractor. I do not like calcium chloride solution in tractor tires, but this is the last tractor set up as such. That added weight really helps. If I was using the tractor without a front end loader, I still think I would prefer to have the larger rear tires and spend the added money to go with the larger tires.
 
This is mine with the larger tires... buddy has a 4010 with the smallers looks like a sissy..LOL
