As I said in my last post, when I finally was able to read the # on my distributor, l surmised that I had the incorrect electronic ignition module. Once I replaced it with the right one, TA DA! the tractor runs great. Took it to our club pull today and ran middle of the pack in 6000-8000 lb classes. Very pleased given how 'tweaked' a lot of the competition was.

Thanks a lot to everyone who answered my appeals for help when it was only firing on one cylinder. Until I noticed that the distributors changed middle of the 60 production years, I was grasping at straws. Danny
 
CONGRATULATIONS.......I kept wondering and insisting the electronics inside the distributor had to have two magnets (on distributor shaft over the cam) that passed by the pickup coil each 180 so left fired at TDC and then 180 later the right fired on its TDC.
