Help!!! Need JD spreader part FAST! Model H ser 47

My John Deere Manure spreader model H series 47 Broke the housing that holds the bed chain drive. We use it to spread walnut hulls. We hull walnuts commercially so we get a lot of them! Too many to shovel! Anyone have one they are parting out or in the junk pile? At least would any one near Elwood, Indiana or Atlanta,Indiana area have a spreader I could borrow for a couple weeks?

Your best bet is going to be Mother Deere. After that it's checking junkyards and equipment dealers.

I just bought a complete working Model H spreader not too far away. It is rusty but works so I will use it till the season is over and then fix my broken one. Then I will have a back up. Thanks guys!
