Grandpaps Tear | Im 15 and I just bought a John Deere A with the rare wide front. The day after we got it home my dad, my uncle, and me were looking at it. Uncle Rick said start it up. So ole Johnny Putt Putt fired up. After a few minutes I shut it off. Then I started scaping some oil off the back. My uncle said 'Did you see Ed looking down?' Ed was my Farming Grandpap who died 10 years before I was born. A tear came to all of our eyes. My dad then said 'Its a damn shame these boys never got to meet him. He'ed be so proud of you. Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents.
