Great Grandpa 48 John Deere A | I got my great grandpas JD A last year at age 18. I wanted to restore it. So I started to take it apart thinking it would be a fairly easy task considering that it ran about 8 years before. However when I pulled the head off and found the cylinders were full of rust, I had second thoughts. with some help from my uncle we have got it running. I am still working on it and have started to buy some extras for it like a baker valve and a loader and live pump. I still have some reading to do though on how to install all of it. I hope to get it finished this summer. Zach Schafer, MN, entered 2013-02-10 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
