The First Time | When I was about 11 or 12 years old, during the summer time we were baling hay. Mom told me to take water back to Dad in our hayfields. He was baling with our Massey Harris 33 tractor and a Massey Harris #1 Hay Baler. So I walked back to the field and waited for Dad to stop. He got off the Massey Harris to have a drink of water while we sat on a bale of hay. Dad said to me "Get on the tractor and start baling, boy. ". I looked at Dad funny. He said "Don't worry, you will do fine. ". Dad was feeling the bales to see if they were just right to put in our barn while I was baling. Good times.
